Updated

You can read and sign the waivers your space asks for, and check which ones you’ve signed. Visitors and parents without an account sign from a link instead.

Staff write the waivers and decide who must sign them. That setup is in Visitor waivers.

Find waivers to sign

  • Web: open People › Waivers. Waivers waiting for you are under Needs your signature. While one is waiting, a banner at the top of each page says how many need your signature, with a review and sign link.
  • App: open More › Waivers. The row shows how many await your signature. Home and the Training tab also show “A waiver needs your signature” until you sign.

A locked training or session can send you here too. Its step “Sign the … waiver” opens the waiver. See When a session is locked.

When you join from an invitation, each waiver waiting for you opens in turn, followed by your contact details.

Sign on the web

  1. On Waivers & Agreements, click Review and sign next to the waiver.
  2. Read the agreement.
  3. Tick each box you agree to and fill in any fields. Items marked * are required.
  4. Under Type your full legal name, enter your name.
  5. Draw your signature in the box. Clear wipes it so you can start again.
  6. Click Agree and sign. You’re back on Waivers & Agreements, and the waiver is listed under Signed.

Agree and sign stays greyed out until the required boxes and fields, your name and your signature are done. The line under it says what’s left, for example “To sign: fill in the required fields, type your full name.”

Sign in the app

  1. On Waivers, tap the waiver under Needs your signature.
  2. Read the agreement.
  3. Tick each box you agree to and fill in any fields.
  4. Enter your name in Full legal name.
  5. Draw your signature with your finger. Clear wipes it so you can start again.
  6. Tap Agree and sign. ”… signed — thank you.” appears and you’re back on Waivers.

Agree and sign stays greyed out until every required box and field, your name and your signature are done.

After you sign

  • You get an email titled “Your signed copy — …”. It has the full text you agreed to, your answers and your signature.
  • Signing gives you a credential with the same name as the waiver. Anything your space has locked behind it unlocks, such as trainings, session sign-ups or machines.

See what you’ve signed

  • Web: the Signed table on Waivers & Agreements lists each Waiver, its Version, when you Signed it, and its Status. Click a waiver’s name to open what you signed: that version’s text, your answers, the name you typed and your drawn signature. Older versions open too.
  • App: the Signed list on Waivers shows each waiver, its version, the date you signed it and its status. Tap a waiver to open what you signed: that version’s text, your answers, the name you typed and your drawn signature. Older versions open too.

Current means the signature counts. Only your newest signature of a waiver can be current. Superseded means it no longer counts, because you signed again or the waiver needs a new signature. Expired means the waiver’s time limit ran out. The signed copy emailed to you is also a record of the text you agreed to.

When a waiver changes

Staff can publish a new version of a waiver. If they ask everyone to sign again, the waiver moves back to Needs your signature and your earlier signature shows Superseded. Anything that needs the waiver stays locked until you sign the new version. Your earlier signature is kept on record.

If a new version is published while you have the waiver open, your signature is refused. Open the waiver again and sign the new version. The app reloads it for you.

Sign as a visitor

You don’t need an account. Your space sends you a link by email, shares it with your group, or shows a QR code to scan. It opens in any browser, on a phone or a computer.

  1. Open the link. The page names the waiver and says “No account needed — this page is all there is.”
  2. Under Who is this waiver for?, click Myself or My child.
  3. Enter the details. For yourself: Full name, Email and Date of birth. For a child: Child’s full name, Child’s date of birth, Your name (parent or guardian) and Your email. Child’s email (optional) and Relationship (optional) can stay blank.
  4. Click Continue. Your details show as text. Edit details lets you change them.
  5. Read the waiver, tick the boxes and fill in any fields.
  6. Under Your signature, sign with your finger or mouse, and enter your name under Your full name.
  7. Click Agree and sign. “You’re all signed” appears, and a copy is emailed to you.

To sign for another person on the same phone or tablet, click Sign for someone else on this device after you finish. It isn’t offered on a link that was emailed to you by name.

If you’re under 18

If you chose Myself and your date of birth makes you under 18, you can’t sign yourself. The page shows “A parent or guardian needs to sign”.

  1. Enter Parent or guardian’s name and Their email. Their phone (optional) and Relationship (optional) can stay blank.
  2. Click Email them the signing link. “Sent to your parent or guardian” appears.

They get a signing link by email, and by text if you gave their phone. Once they sign, you’re done.

  • “Signing isn’t open yet”: the link opens closer to the event. Come back later.
  • “This signing link has closed” or “This link isn’t valid”: contact your space for a fresh link.

If staff invited you by name and the link has a closing date, reminders arrive 7, 3 and 1 days before it closes, and on the day itself.

If you join the space later

If you signed for yourself and later get an account with the same email, the signature moves to your account. If it’s for the waiver’s current version, it counts straight away and you don’t sign again. A signature a parent gave for a child doesn’t move.

Sign for your child

When your child is under 18, your space can send you a signing link by email, and by text if it has your phone. This covers children who started a visitor waiver and members under 18 whose space asks for a guardian.

  1. Open the link. The page says “Please review and sign for …”.
  2. If the page shows Who you’re signing for, check your child’s name and date of birth. Click Edit to fix them.
  3. Read the agreement, tick the boxes and fill in any fields.
  4. If the page asks for Emergency contacts, enter who to call. Add another contact adds more.
  5. If the page shows Contact details, check your email. The signed copy goes there.
  6. Under Your signature, sign with your finger or mouse, and enter your name under Your full name.
  7. Click Agree and sign. “Thank you — that’s signed” appears, and a copy is emailed to you.

The link works for 14 days. After that it shows “This link has expired”. Ask your space to send a new one.
