The admin menu

The admin menu is the controller’s on-device toolbox for staff. From the idle screen (or the connecting screen, if the controller can’t reach Wi-Fi), hold RED (STOP) for about five seconds. Navigate with UP / DOWN, select with GREEN, and tap STOP to go back. Sub-pages return you to the menu with the cursor still on the item you opened.

The menu is deliberately read-mostly: nothing on the device changes your session rules or machine configuration — that all lives in the platform. The only destructive items are WIFI SETUP and REBOOT.

Item	What it does
FIRMWARE VERSION	Shows the installed firmware version.
CHECK FOR UPDATES	Asks the platform whether newer firmware exists for this hardware. Shows CHECKING, then UP TO DATE or UPDATE FOUND — and if an update is due, the platform pushes it right then. NO ANSWER means the platform didn’t reply within 15 seconds; OFFLINE means the controller isn’t connected.
NETWORK STATUS	Live network page: SSID, signal strength, broker connection, IP address, netmask, gateway, MAC address, and uptime.
SIGNAL METER	A live Wi-Fi signal meter with min/max hold — use it while choosing a mounting spot or diagnosing dropouts. UP resets the min/max.
MODULE TEMP	Internal module temperature with min/max hold, for diagnostics. Reading well above room temperature is normal — it’s the chip’s own die temperature, and the radio stays awake by design. UP resets the hold.
SHOW BINDING QR	Displays the binding QR used to link this controller to a machine in the platform. See Connecting to Wi-Fi.
SERIAL NUMBER	The controller’s unique ID — the same identifier the platform shows for it. Have it handy when contacting support.
WIFI SETUP	Erases the stored Wi-Fi credentials (including enterprise username/password) and reboots into setup mode. Use it to move the controller to a new network.
REBOOT	Restarts the controller.

Opening the admin menu during someone’s session isn’t possible — while a session is armed or active the buttons belong to the session. Wait for the idle screen.
