Chapter one
Training, credentials and machine access share one record. A student passes the laser course, the credential lands on their profile, and the laser turns on when they scan it.
Courses that unlock machines
Build slide, video and quiz lessons in the app, or upload your SCORM 1.2 packages. Chain prerequisites, run in-person checkouts with waitlists, and set recertification dates. When a student passes, the credential that unlocks the machine lands on their record.
The right people on the right machines
Built-in roles for Staff, Students, Admins and Area Managers, plus roles you define. Machine access follows credentials. Pass the training and the machine is yours; let the certification lapse and access pauses with it.
The credential is the key
A controller on the machine itself. Members scan a session QR code at the machine to start. Staff can switch any machine on or off remotely, and an instructor can open a bank of machines for a class. Controllers report their health and take firmware updates over the air. If the network drops, the machine fails safe.
iOS & Android
Staff run maintenance sweeps, approve purchases and manage the rota from the floor. Members badge in, take training and check what is open. It is one app, and each person sees the screens their role needs.

Chapter two
Bookings, shifts, purchase requests and the bills that follow. Each one records who asked, who decided and when.
Appointments, queues and shifts in one place
Members book time with the people who run the floor. A request for laser training or help on the CNC lands in a queue staff work through. The staff rota sits right beside it, with drag-and-drop shifts and swaps.
Every purchase request gets an answer
A member asks for a new spool of PETG. The request goes to one approval queue, the approver says yes or no, and the decision is logged. The person who asked can see where it stands.
Vendors and part numbers in one place
Supplier records sit next to the stock they supply. Contacts, websites, part numbers and notes stay attached to the parts and materials you actually order.
The whole floor at a glance
Live dashboards for the day: open tasks, maintenance coming due, the purchasing queue, and who is in the building right now. An audit log records every change. Event signups export to CSV when you need the list.
Pay by purchase order
One annual plan for the organization, paid by purchase order and invoice. Staff seats, controllers and storage are listed on the plan, and your usage against it is always visible. Internal spending runs through purchase requests, so every purchase has a paper trail.

Every machine, consumable and room, laid out the way your shop is. Ask where the 1/4-20 bolts are or when the mill was last serviced and there is one answer.
Every machine, its whole history
Track one laser cutter or a row of twelve 3D printers. Preventive maintenance schedules, service tickets and downtime logs live on the machine record. When the belt on printer 7 was last replaced is written down, so nobody has to remember it.
Know what you have before you need it
Stock and materials tracked on the shelf where they sit, with usage notes on the items themselves. Set reorder points so filament, bar stock and safety glasses get flagged before they run out. Members can describe a job and get a pick from what you actually stock.
Scan the tool, scan the badge, set a due date
When a multimeter or a drill kit leaves the building, it gets a custody record. Staff scan the tool's QR or NFC tag and the member's badge in the app, set a due date, and the loan is live. Each item has its own policy: not loanable, staff checkout only, or self-serve. The front desk sees who has what, and what is overdue, on one page.
Every room, bench and shelf
Lay out your space as areas: the wood shop, the metal shop, the laser room, the stockroom. Machines and stock are placed in an area, down to the shelf, so a search tells you which room to walk to.
Open by default
No campus replaces everything at once. Sign in with campus single sign-on, send webhooks to your own systems, and reach on-site hardware that never talks to the internet through an outbound-only connector.
Token-authenticated REST for equipment, inventory, tasks, purchasing, members, credentials and sessions, with cursor pagination for syncing. Signed webhooks go out when things change, and a long-poll connector reaches systems behind your firewall.
How integrations workDownload the import template, fill it in and upload it. The importer checks every row and tells you what it skipped and why. Everything else loads through the API.
